"Reed Signs NLI at SFSU"

Cabrillo College forward Brett Reed has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) and Scholarship papers with San Francisco State University. Reed was a two time 1st Team All-State selection for the Seahawks. The first player in school history to do so. He was the Coast Conference South Division MVP in 2016 and a 1st Team All-Coast Confernce South Division pick in 2017. The 6'8" forward averaged well over 10 rebounds a game for his career at Cabrillo and has become the colleges' all-time leading rebounder.

The Houston, TX native was a double double machine during his two year career while winning two Coast Conference South Division Championships, amassing an impressive two year record of 40-15 overall and 21-3 in Conference play. He will graduate as one of the most decorated players in Cabrillo Basketball history.

Reed will enroll at SFSU in the Fall of 2017. SFSU is an NCAA DIv. II member and competes in the CCAA."
