San Francisco State proved to be six points better than Cal State LA, 71-65, in The City on Saturday. Junior backcourter Calvin (Sheldon High/San Joaquin Delta College) Otiono paced the Gators with 20 points, four assists and a trio of steals.
One night earlier, SF State handled Cal State Dominguez Hills 68-52 behind Decensae (Serra High) White's double double of 20 points and 10 boards.

SF State led by Nor Cal trio
How are this trifecta of Nor Cal talents doing in leading the San Francisco State team this season?
* Senior forward Decensae (Serra High) White tops the Gators in both scoring (12.8) and rebounding (7.8) thus far.
* Junior guard Calvin (Sheldon High/San Joaquin Delta College) Otiono is second in scoring at 12.3 points per game plus he's grabbing 3.6 caroms an outing.
* Sophomore backcourter Robbie (St. Patrick St. Vincent) Herndon is third with 10.3 points and 3.2 boards each time out.
