Weber rolls
It was Weber State by 16, 70-54, last night over Idaho State as Davion Berry totaled 16 points, Frank Otis posted an eight points/eight rebound line and Jordan (I mistyped Julian earlier so 10 laps around the West High track for me) Richardson went for six points plus five assists.

Weber State rolls
Weber State has no trouble with visiting Northern Colorado, taking a 79-54 victory. Point Julian Richardson went for 10 points plus three assists. Davion Berry surprisingly didn't make a single shot but contributed five assists. Frank Otis totaled eight points and four boards as no Wildcat reached the 30 minute mark in playing time.

Weber State by four
Weber State topped Portland State 73-69 last night in the City of Roses with Jordan Richardson leading the Wildcats with 14 points (4-5 from long distance) and five assists while Davion Berry was big too with 12 points plus seven assists. Frank Otis added eight rebounds, four points, four assists and a trio of blocked shots in an all-around effort.

Weber State 74, Eastern Washington 53
The Wildcats went into the Evergreen State and took down Eastern Washington 74-53 last night (EW's Collin Chiverton was again out for the game).
It was point Julian Richardson leading the Weber attack with 15 points. He went 3-5 from long distance and also totaled three assists versus zero turnovers. Davion Berry didn't shoot particularly well but finished with nine points plus seven assists. Frank Otis tallied seven points (3-3 shooting) and a trio of boards.

BYu by 10 over Weber State
Weber State tangled with Mountain West Conference member BYU and the host Cougars prevailed by 10, 78-68.
Davion (Hayward High) Berry led the Wildcats with 25 points (10-14 shooting) and Frank (McClymonds High) Otis added seven points plus six rebounds.

Weber romps
Weber State had no trouble with Utah Valley State, winning 89-56. For the Wildcats, Frank Otis posted 14 points and five rebounds in 22 minutes of court time. Davion Berry scored eight points but didn't shoot well, 4-12. Jordan Richardson produced five assists and four points.

Weber falls to Utah State
Weber State went into Logan to battle Utah State and the hosts emerged with a 65-55 win.
For the Wildcats, Frank Otis tallied eight points, four boards, three assists and a likewise number of steals. Davion Berry contributed 11 points but was off in his shooting (5-14 overall, 0-6 on treys, 1-5 from the foul line).

Weber State has played two games thus far this season and here are the very early numbers on the Wildcat Bay Area talents:
* Davion (Hayward High) Berry - 19 points, 3.5 boards, three assists, shooting 52% overall, 56% from three-point range
* Jordan (West High) Richardson - 11.5 points, 4.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds a contest
* Frank (McClymonds High) Otis - 10.5 point and 8.5 boards a game

Berry, Otis and Richardson star in latest Weber win
It was the lions Wildcats and the Christians Friday night as host Weber State trampled Arizona Christian 110-52.
Davion (Hayward High) Berry topped Weber with 17 points, Frank (McClymonds High) Otis posted a 13/10 double-double while Jordan (West High) Richardson contributed 15 points plus seven assists. All three started.

The seasons for Jordan Richardson & Frank Otis
Weber State's Jordan Richardson averaged 4.1 points per game as a sophomore, shooting 37%, 41% and 79% respectively. He started 14 of 32 games, playing a bit more than 20 minutes a contest. Richardson also posted a marvelous 68 to 24 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Teammate Frank Otis suffered a injury halfway or so through the season, basically shutting him down. In 12 games (seven starts, 17 minutes a game), he averaged 5.2 points and 3.8 boards a contest, shooting 69% from the floor and 67% at the free throw stripe. Otis will be a senior next go-around.
Weber State finished 25-7 this season, 14-2 in the Big Sky Conference.

Weber over Northern Arizona
Northern Arizona focused on Damian Lillard so it was the other Weber Staters who emerged in the Wildcats 81-67 victory over Northern Arizona. Lillard still finished with 18 points, six boards, six assists and a trio of steals. Jordan Richardson contributed 10 points and three assists plus Frank Otis returned from injury to score 12 points on 5-5 shooting.

Lillard at it again
31 points from Damian (Oakland High) Lillard (5-8 from long distance) led Weber State to an 84-66 victory over Southern Utah University.
Jordan (West High, Tracy) Richardson got a start and produced 10 points plus four assists in 35 minutes for Weber.
Frank (McClymonds High) Otis injured a knee last game and didn't play.

Weber State coming out to both Cal and St. Mary's this coming season
Weber State -- meaning a return home for Damian Lillard and Frank Otis -- will be participating in a tourney at St. Mary's this coming season as well as a single game with Cal.
