After 55 minutes, it's Dominican
San Francisco State University and Dominican University mixed it up in Marin County yesterday evening with the latter emerging victorious 115-110 after three overtimes.
Connor (Center High) Haysbert produced a 20/12 double-double for Dominican, with Jacob (Elsie Allen High) Noisat close behind at 16/9
For the Gators, Decensae (Serra High) White led with 24 points while Robbie (St. Patrick-St. Vincent) Herndon contributed 21 and Calvin (Sheldon High) Otonio totaled 19.

Noisat garners pre-season honor
Jacob Noisat is a pre-season All Conference honoree as chosen by the coaches in the Pacific West Conference. He's a 6-foot-8 senior at Dominican University and played at Elsie Allen High.

Three NorCal-ers help Dominican win
Dominican University led off its season with a 73-65 win over Corban University.
Freshman Chris (Sacramento Waldorf) Schwartz-Edmisten finished third in scoring for the Penguins with 12 points. Fellow frosh Matt (Yuba City High) Hayes contributed seven points and seven boards in 16 minutes off the bench. Senior Jacob (Elsie Allen High) Noisat added nine rebounds and six points.

Jacob Noisat turns down D1 for Dominican!

Chabot sophomore 6'8" power forward Jacob Noisat has decided to stay close to home and accept a scholarship to NCAA II Dominican University in San Rafael, CA. Jacob transferred into Chabot from NCAA II program CSU East Bay where he was a starter for the Pioneers most of the season. Jacob found a home right away at Chabot where he started all season, was awarded First Team All Conference with season averages of 9.5 points and 8 rebounds while shooting 58% from the field. Jacob was known for being a tough bruiser who loved to compete and was one of the best athletes on the floor. Jacob turned down D1 scholarship offers to: Nevada, Iona, Tulane, UCR, Prairie View A&M, Quinnipiac, Bowling Green State, Florida Gulf Coast and North Texas.

Chris Murray, the Nevada athletics beat reporter for the Reno Journal Gazette, has a notes column up containing this item:
"...While [Coach David] Carter is not allowed to comment on recruitable athletes, multiple sources say the Pack is looking to bring a pair of recruits to town in the coming weeks.Noisat prepped at Elsie Allen High in Santa Rosa and then played a season at Cal State East Bay before transferring to Chabot College as a sophomore.
The first is 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward Jacob Noisat, who averaged 9.3 points (on 58 percent shooting) and 7.6 rebounds for Chabot College in Hayward, Calif., last season. The junior-college transfer has two years of eligibility..."
