Goins powers Coyotes to win

It was Cal State San Bernardino 90 to UC San Diego's 82 Saturday night as former Diablo Valley College backcourter Brian Goins tallied a team-leading 23 points (9-16 shooting), four assists and three steals for the victors.

Senior Justin (Bishop O'Dowd) Brue totaled 24 points (12-16 shooting) for the Tritons and also nabbed nine rebounds.

Humboldt over UCSD

Humboldt State nabbed a road win over UC San Diego 65-64. Kyle Baxter just missed a double-double with 23 points and nine boards. Justin Brue finished with 14 points plus eight rebounds for the border dwellers.
