On Saturday in Seaside, Humboldt State edged Cal State Monterey Bay 72-70 as Tyras (Sheldon High) Rattler Jr. had another strong effort with 26 points. He shot 8-16, 5-10 and 5-5 respectively.
Gregg (San Ramon Valley High) Polosky led the Otters with 20 points and teammate Kevin (St. Mary's High) Warren tallied 14.
