Riverside 72, Irvine 69

Kareem Nitoto's 13 points and nine boards helped host UC Riverside top UC Irvine 72-69 in overtime last night. Chris McNealy paced the Anteaters with a 19 point/six rebound/four assist line.

Fullerton 77, Riverside 64

Visiting Cal State Fullerton led from the start in downing UC Riverside 77-64. It was an off-shooting night for D.J. Seeley (nine points) and Kwame Vaughn (eight points0 but the latter did pass for six assists. Kareem Nitoto scored 11 points for the Highlanders.

UCSB eight better than Riverside

When the final buzzer sounded, it was host UC Santa Barbara 60 to UC Riverside's 52. James Nunnally's 15 points, six boards and three assists aided the Gauchos while Orlando Johnson finished with 12 points and five boards. Kareem Nitoto posted seven points, four caroms and two assists at the point for the Highlanders.

Riverside tops Cal Poly
