It was tied at 32 at halftime before Cal State San Bernardino pulled away and defeated Cal State East Bay 78-65 in Hayward last night. For the Pioneers, Jacari (St. Joseph-Notre Dame) Whitfield shot 5-9 from long distance to finish with 16 points and he added eight assists. His teammates Cody (Humboldt State/Rocklin High) Kale and Paramvir (Newark Memorial High) Singh each tallied 13 points.
