Host Contra Costa College and Merritt College paired off on Wednesday with the latter nabbing a three-point victory 76-73. Tyrell (El Cerrito High) Alcorn led with 21 points followed by Tim (Freedom High) Jordan's 15, 13 from Obie (Northgate High) Richard and Thomas (Vanden High) Avent's 11.
