Santa Clara moves on

Host Santa Clara took down Vermont 77-67 last night to advance in the College Invitational Tournament. It was a senior night of sorts for the Broncos as guard Kevin Foster went off with 23 points and frontcourter Marc Trasolini finished with 20. Coach Kerry Keating's crew shot 51% overall and 22-28 from the foul line.
