St. Mary's met up with Middle Tennessee in Dayton and the result was a 67-54 victory for the Gaels and advancement into the Big Dance. Matthew Dellavedova went for 22 points and Stephen Holt 18 as Coach Randy Bennett's guys won both 20-minute segments, 29-20 and 38-34.
Now it's on to Auburn Hills, Michigan to face Memphis.
