According to MaxPreps, 6-foot-4 2012 St. Helena backcourter Alec Fetzer is averaging 17.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.5 steals per game this season.

So what did he do in two games played with 24 hours on Friday and Saturday?

Try 27 points plus six assists in a 92-62 win over host Clear Lake followed by a 49-48 victory in a visit up at Fort Bragg in which Fetzer scored 28 including the game winning jumper from the top of the key with two seconds remaining.

That adds up to 55 points in a period of 24 hours while keeping a post-season berth possible. St. Helena is 18-7, 10-3 in the 2011-12 season.

Fetzer's 28 points in game two put him over 1,000 career varsity points.
