Not having fun

Never heard the above given as a reason for letting a coach go but that's actually a shortcut reason. Head here for the full and very interesting story.

The AD has been there since 2004 so it's not simply a matter of him wanting 'his' guy in as head coach.

    This is a unique situation. Service academy players have a challenging academic workload, as well as the military component. For the vast majority, it's their last chance to play high level ball, they should have fun before they move on to serve their country.

    Sounds like the AD has the right idea. Coaches approach isn't wrong for most schools, just not a service academy.
