Meet the 2012 Bay Area Hoosiers

Yes Virginia, there is an edition of the 2012 Bay Area Hoosiers. This year's squad will be co-coached by Rob Jones and Phillip Doherty, longtime Hoosier and northern California hoops fixtures.

Here's the roster:

* Noah Allen, 6-foot-6, Palma High, 2013, Tri-County Athletic League MVP - "USF and St. Mary's are interested" - PDoherty

* Dylan Alexander, 6-foot-3, Weston Ranch High, 2013, 19.5 points per game, led Valley Oak League in scoring - "Dylan is bouncy and shoots really well, USF is interested" - PDoherty

* Duke Doulphus, 6-foot-7, Edison High, 2013

* Markel Leonard, 6-foot, Salesian High, 2013 - "Princeton and Columbia are really on Markel," - PDoherty

* Joe McGlaston, 6-foot-4, Dublin High, 2013

* Eric Nielson, 6-foot-8, Dublin High, 2013

* Guillermo Nunez, 5-foot-10, Sierra High, 2013 - "a combo guard who plays basketball and football (quarterback), he is a fierce competitor and can shoot the lights out" - PDoherty

 * Elliott Pitts, 6-foot-6, De La Salle High, 2013, First Team All-EBAL - "Cal, Georgetown, UCLA and Arizona State are among his suitors, efficient offensively, Noah doesn't require a lot of shots to score, he can really pass and has great vision, he's also grown and gotten really long, he'll be a one and a two at the next level and a one in the NBA" - PDoherty

* TJ Viney, 5-foot-9, Edison High, 2013

6-foot-9 Marcus Lee, a 2013 out of Deer Valley High, is a maybe. Lee has seemingly a gazillion offers including most of the Pac-12 and Big 12 Conferences.

Hey, there's no Jimmy Chitwood nut heck he might not even make this team.

Additionally, Pitts and Dolphus boast 4.0 or 4.0+ grade point averages, Nunez checks in at 3.9 and everyone else is at 3.4, 3.5 or higher.

The Hoosiers will be participating in the Fab 48 in Las Vegas come late July. Prior to that, it will be Hal Pastner's Grand Opening in Sin City April 20-22 plus other tournaments.
