Desmond Simmons:
Barring a minor miracle for Cal Poly, the Huskies will win their third
straight game. Simmons may have given the play of the game. On a N’Diaye
miss, he crawled on the floor for the loose ball and got control of the
rock. Then he passed to Andrews sank a running jumper. The bench
erupted in cheers. UW 65-48, 2:50.
NICE OVATION — Simmons went the bench and received a round of applause
from the fans. On the previous play, he deflected a pass and jumped out
of bounds trying to save the ball. UW 41-29, 12:10.
