Predicting the Big West Conference + Will Davis

So why does Burlison have UC Irvine at #1?

There's chatter about Irvine having a pair of 7-footers -- new recruits 7-foot-2 Giannis Dimakopoulos and 7-foot-5 Mamadou Ndiaye -- but any Anteater talk should really be directed to the subject of  Will Davis.

The 6-foot-8 frontcourter out of Sacramento High, as they say, came on last season. As a sophomore in 25 minutes an outing, he put up 9.7 points (second on the squad) and 6.8 rebounds (tops on the team) each contest while shooting 55%, alongside 88 blocked shots (best in the BWC).

Davis swatted 55 shots as a freshman so look for his total to hit triple figures in 2013-14.
