Butte 81, San Joaquin Delta 72 (San Joaquin Delta College tourney)

Chico ER: "The Butte College men’s basketball team opened up the San Joaquin Delta tournament against the host Mustangs on Friday, and the Roadrunners found themselves behind 37-35 at the half. Delta built a 51-44 lead with 15 minutes to go, but Butte rattled off a 24-6 run to pick up a 81-72 win.

Trey Foster led the Roadrunners with 21 points, and Terry Clarendon added 14. Josiah Wood had 12 points. Cam Moore and Michael Shoemaker scored 10 points each.

Butte (7-4) will play Cabrillo at 7 p.m. Saturday in the semifinals of the tournament."
