On Friday, Butte College took care of Contra Costa College 85-69.
The Chico ER: "Five Roadrunners reached double digits Friday as the Butte College men’s basketball team started the Foothill College tournament hot, beating Contra Costa 85-69.
Danny Lewis led Butte scorers with 18 points while teammate Josiah Wood added 16. Trey Foster, Terry Clarendon and Michael Shoemaker contributed 11 points each.
The Roadrunners built a sizable lead in the first half, 24-6 at one point, and led 40-23 at the half. Butte will play Foothill in the semifinals of the tournament at 6 p.m. Saturday."
