Contra Costa College Mens Basketball: "The Comets rebounded from last night's game with a solid 79-68 victory over Delta College. The Comets came out with intensity, pushing their lead to as high as 18 at one point. G Anthony Sullen led the Comets with 25 points and 10 rebounds while F Jeremiah Alston added 14 pts and 3 rebounds. The Comets are back in action tomorrow at 12 PM vs Napa College in the Consolation championship of the Foothill College Tournament... GO COMETS!!!"
And on Friday: "The Comets dropped a tough one last night to Butte College 85-69 in the first round of the Foothill College Tournament. The Comets fell behind early and never quite found their footing. F Larry Wickett led the Comets with 30 points and 5 rebounds while PG Bobby Syvanthong added 14 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals. The Comets play today at 4 PM vs. Delta College... GO COMETS!!!"
