FCC 101, Cuesta 76 (Modesto JC tourney)

Fresno City College won the Modesto JC Holiday tournament with a 101-76 victory Saturday over Cuesta College. Nick (Jesuit High) Hilton and BJ Shelton led the champions with 14 points apiece. The former shot 4-5 from long range and the latter was a perfect 5-5 from the floor. It was another sharp-shooting game for the Rams with 65%, 60% and 78% accuracies respectively. Hilton earned MVP honors.
