The Napa Valley Register: "In the first round of the Foothill Tournament in Los Altos Hills, the Storm were tied with the second-ranked team in the state at 80-80 with four minutes to go. But Feather River (12-0) made more shots and free throws than NVC (1-9) down the stretch.
Posting season-high scoring nights for the Storm were Isaiah Brown, with 26 points, and Akeem Dear, with 21 points and eight rebounds. Rae Hubbard had five points and 10 assists.
“Feather River is one of only two undefeated teams in the state and is ranked No. 2 in the state, and we had them on the ropes until late,” NVC head coach Steve Ball said. “They came up with a couple of extra plays that we just couldn’t stop. But our team really followed our defensive scouting report and did a great job.”
FRC's Derrick Randolph finished with 55 points. No, that is not a typo.
