Pacific was in Wisconsin last night and came close before falling 93-88 against Green Bay. Down by 10 at the half, the Tigers won the second 20 minutes by five points. The Phoenix shot 44 free throws to 21 for Pacific which was whistled for 36 fouls.
Alec (Santa Rosa JC) Kobre paced the Stockton-ites with 25 points, including a lucky 7-11 from beyond the arc. Ray (Modesto Christian High) Bowles tallied 15.
