In Stockton, UC Irvine came from behind late to topple Pacific 70-67. Mike (Terra Linda High) Best tallied 11 points in 17 minutes for the Anteaters.
For the Tigers, senior Alec (Santa Rosa JC/Montgomery High) Kobre got back into action -- quite the understatement -- as he scored a game best 24 points (9-14, 4-9, 2-2). Anthony (Modesto Christian) Townes scored 13 points on 6-7 shooting.
