Nor Cal CalHiSports State Stats Stars of the Week

The Nor Cal contingent of CalHiSports' State Stats Stars of the Week:

Jake Halderman (Hayfork)
We have a soft spot for the Timberjacks since we once went way up there to present Class B state football honors. Halderman is a junior standout on the court this season and had a season high 38 points in a 67-56 triumph last week vs. Foresthill.

and

Caleb Hoag (Big Valley Christian, Modesto)
For the second week in a row, he scored over 30 points as this 6-foot-3 junior scored 33 points during a 98-65 win over Waterford. Hoag also knocked down 9 of his 11 attempts from behind the three-point line.

and

Elias King (Christian Brothers, Sacramento)
After just 14 points during a win over Del Oro of Loomis, this 6-foot-7 sophomore’s next two games showed he is someone to keep an eye on. King scored 38 points during a 83-69 loss to Archbishop Mitty of San Jose at the Father Barry tournament and had 33 points with 11 rebounds during a 68-45 win over St. Mary’s of Stockton.

and

Clayton Ladine (Burton, San Francisco)
He had four straight triple-doubles heading into this week after going for 26 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists during a 102-90 loss to Piedmont.

and

Sean Rodriguez (Piedmont)
One of the Contra Costa Times’ Athletes of the Week, Rodriguez got it done with 28 points plus 10 rebounds and five assists when the Highlanders topped Burton of San Francisco 102-90. He also had 20 points when Piedmont beat San Francisco Washington 79-42.
