On Thursday, in the opening round of its own tournament, San Jose City College turned back Ohlone College 57-54. 6-foot-10 Jaguar Akil (Evergreen Valley High) Douglas was imposing with 17 points plus 14 boards while teammate Luscious Brown filled the stat sheet via 12 points, seven assists and six boards.
