Cal Poly doesn't get beat by 30 points unless it's going up against one of the power teams in the country but St. Mary's did just that last night in a 93-63 win up in Moraga.
For the Gaels, Calvin Hermanson led with 23 points, Emmett Naar tallied 18 (plus 11 assists) and Stefan Gonzalez 15. On three-point attempts, the trio went an 'en fuego' 5-10, 4-5 and 5-7 respectively. Also remarkably, we're also talking about two sophomores and a freshman.
The Gales shot just five free throws, making four, and still dominated.
