Very few ever want to acknowledge this but luck, or lack thereof, can often be an important factor in any of our successes and failures.

Now, this in no manner absolves anyone from working hard and being prepared to take advantage of situations presenting. It's just that there are times the sun shines or goes behind the clouds and we have no control over that.
