"Coach Greg Rahn and the PUC Men's Basketball team would like to welcome incoming freshman Justin Stevens to the Pioneers' family. Stevens, a 6'7" center from Paradise Academy, was signed Sunday afternoon on the PUC campus and plans to major in Nursing.
Stevens attended Paradise Academy for two years after transferring from Paradise High. He experienced success immediately as his team went to the NorCal Division VI Final in 2015, his junior season. In his final year he helped the team earn their sixth Pioneer Valley League title. Stevens was one of three seniors on the team.
Stevens finished his senior year second in the PVL in points per game (17.0) and rebounds (11.4) while finishing first in blocks (4.3). Over his two year career at Paradise Academy, he was able to score 694 points (14.8 career ppg) while shooting 54%, grab 483 total rebounds (10.3 career rpg) and record 168 total blocks (3.6 career bpg)."
