Cabrillo bests CCC

It was host Cabrillo College getting by Contra Costa College last night.

Seahawks survive Contra Costa 65-57...

The Cabrillo College Seahawks advanced tonight with a first round win over Contra Costa College in Aptos 65-57. The Seahawks never trailed tonight and controlled the tempo as the Seahawks took a 33-28 lead in the locker room.

The second half was a grind it out type of game as Cabrillo slowly churned out a 10 point lead midway through the second half. Contra Costa had plenty of fight in them as they cut the lead to four several times but could not over take the Seahawks.

Phoenix Bills lead the Seahawks in scoring with 14 points. CJ Grigg had 13 points. Dalton Noble scored 12 points and Jake Harrell had 11 points.
