Ismail Ali honored

To say the least, Antelope Valley College's Ismail (San Leandro High) Ali enjoyed a productive series of games at the Chabot College tournament. He began with 11 assists and seven points in a victory over Solano College. Then he garnered 10 assists and eight points versus Cosumnes River College. In the title game, it was 12 points and 10 assists for a double-double as AVC finished first. Fittingly, he was named the tournament Most Valuable Player. All this in front of numerous family, friends and fans.
