Up in the Land of the Redwoods, Humboldt State enjoyed five players with double figure scoring, including Tom (Diablo Valley College) Witzel's 15 points (5-6 shooting), in downing Sonoma State 81-73.
For the Seawolves, J.J. (Colorado State-Pueblo/Cosumnes River College) Mina went large with 24 points plus 12 boards and teammate Jabri (Salesian High) Jenkins added 16 points in 17 minutes of court time.
