The Casper College men's basketball team guaranteed itself another home game with a 93-90 home victory over Central Wyoming College on Saturday.
Chase Riley's 3-pointer with 35 seconds remaining broke an 88-all tie and Hakeem Rogers hit two free throws with 12.3 seconds on the clock for the final margin. CWC's last-second 3-point attempt was off the mark.
With the win, the T-Birds (21-8, 8-6) clinched the No. 4 seed in the Region IX North, which means they will host the No. 5 seed on Feb. 28 with the winner advancing to the Region IX tournament March 3-5.
Rogers finished with a game-high 28 points for Casper College. Joining him in double figures were Shon Briggs (18), Tanner Morgan (18) and Dylan Alexander (16).
