In Hayward last night, Humboldt State used a strong second half to run past Cal State East Bay 81-67. It was 35-30 in favor of the visitors at halftime.
For the Pioneers, Cody (Humboldt State/Rocklin High) Kale finished with 19 points plus five boards while teammate Jacari (St. Joseph Notre Dame) Whitfield filled the stat sheet via 11 points, seven assists and four rebounds.
