Jeremy Russotti putting Windsor on the map

The premise is that you have to be big city -- LA, NY and the like -- in order to make a name for yourself.

Well, Jeremy Russotti is dispelling that myth big time (no pun intended).

Here's the latest from the Windsor, CA-based basketball skills trainer:

"... a few  weeks back I was selected as a headline speaker at the top basketball coaches conference in the U.S. It is called the Iowa Coaches Association and is run by Team USA Basketball National Development Coach Don Showalter. It was awesome since I was a speaker in the main gym, just before Boston Celtics Assistant coach Kevin Eastman and Oklahoma woman coach Sherri Coale.

It was an amazing experience and a huge honor to speak in front of 1,000 coaches in Iowa. It was great to hear the feedback I was getting after from the coaches and the directors.

My clinic was filmed by Championship Productions and will become a video in a few months. I am also in talks about joining Championship Productions for speaking on the NIKE tour this late spring.

My speaking engagement was on how to incorporate functional skill development training into your practices or off-season plans.  Coach Showalter offered, "Jeremy Russotti is one of the best basketball development people in the business today. His innovative approach to player development will help players reach their full potential. His workouts are outstanding for any age of player."

I have also been contacted to be a headline speaker at the Texas State Coaches Association in May and I'm in talks with a few others for 2012."
