Cal State Stanislaus topped Texas A&M International 85-77 in a tournament down in Fresno. Brett (Ceres High/Modesto JC) Sayad scored 16 points (four three-pointers) and Reggie (Ohlone College) Jones contributed 13.
Former Deer Valley High/Los Medanos backcourter Tyree Murray scored 10 points for TAM. He totaled 20 points plus five assists in an earlier win versus UC Merced.
Ian Salter, out of Marin Catholic High and Toledo, scored two points for the Lone Star State visitors.
