Santa Rosa JC on an early roll

Coach Craig McMillan's Bear Cub squad is hitting stride right our of the gate, winning 77-45 against Marin, 70-68 versus Yuba Cellege and the topping host CCSF 84-82 last weekend.

Santa Rosa is the new No. 1 as the Cubs start the season 3-0 and City College San Francisco loses in the championship game of their tournament. Santa Rosa received all 7 first place votes to capture the top spot. Citrus came in at two as the Owls received 6 first-place votes in the south, with Antelope Valley, winners of the Ventura Tournament, claiming the other first-place vote.
