Two sources have now indicated that former Pepperdine frontcourter Ramon Eaton is headed to New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Eaton averaged 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds a game last season in the West Coast Conference as a freshman, playing 12.7 minutes a contest.
He was a double-double guy as a Sheldon High senior and also a four-year varsity starter.
NMJC, a member of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference, finished 23-9 overall, 10-4 in league and is coached by Chris Tifft.
An earlier report indicating the 6-foot-8 high flyer was headed to Cal State Bakersfield proved to be inaccurate.
