On Dawkins, Pitts and Allen at Pangos

Here's Brandon Tatera at the California Preps site (a Rivals sub is required) on some of the NorCal participants in last weekend's Pangos event:
Aubrey Dawkins, the son of Stanford head basketball coach Johnny Dawkins, had an impressive Pangos weekend. Dawkins who attends Palo Alto High School, which is across the street from Stanford, is as you can expect a fundamentally sound shooting guard. He can pass well and excels shooting from the mid range.

Just as it was with Perrantes, it was refreshing to see Elliott Pitts play his game. Pitts, who plays under a very strict and structured system at De La Salle, maintained some of that mindset as he played defense well and also showed a nice three-point jump shot.

Dakarai Allen also had a nice weekend at Pangos. The Sheldon standout made a name for himself last summer at this event and carried that momentum by leading Sheldon to the state championship. Allen has always been able to defend; however he is now showcasing his ability to drive to the rim and an improving outside jump shot.
