Butterfield honored

The Sagebrush Spot selected Spencer Butterfield as the Player of the Game after Utah State's whomping of SJSU Friday night:

Spencer Butterfield was well on his way to becoming a lot of people's favorite player from the first time he stepped on the court. All he's done since then is add more to love about his game. He had a double-double with 10 minutes left to go in this one, and probably could have easily scored more than 30 points. If the night is always darkest before the dawn, and the injuries to Medlin and Reed were the darkest hour, Butterfield looks like the rising sun of Aggie basketball right now!
