Missed this from Thursday night: New Mexico State and Idaho went down to the buzzer before the former emerged with a two-point homecourt victory. For the victors, former Santa Rosa Junior College backcourter Kevin Aronis totaled nine points plus one assist (three treys) in just six minutes of action. Ex-Yuba College backcourter Mike McChristian produced 12 points, three boards, three assists and a pair of steals for the Vandals.
