O'Neal gets offered

Freedom High's James O'Neal has received his first offer -- this from Chaminade University in Hawaii, a D-II school in the Pac West Conference. The 6-foot-3 backcourter averaged 11.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists this past season with the Falcons. The league includes northern California members Notre Dame de Namur, Holy Names, Academy of Art University and Dominican University.

Miramonte High's 6-foot-5 Kiran Shastri and 6-foot-1 De'Von Boyd of Sacramento High signed with the Silverswords back in November.
