Fresno St. Coach Rodney Terry on Tanner Giddings

Center Robert Upshaw blew out of Fresno State after multiple suspensions and recently power forward Braeden Anderson was in a car wreck that put him out for the season, so former Windsor High big Tanner Giddings looms even more important for the Bulldogs. Robert Kuwada talked with Coach Rodney Terry about the sophomore:

Tanner is a guy that is going to play the four/five for us and Tanner has improved with, I think, more than anything his confidence and knowing that when he’s open we expect him to shoot the basketball, we expect him to rebound the basketball. We know that we can trust him from a defensive standpoint to do all of the things that we’re going to ask from him on a scouting report, but I think he’s much more confident, as I think all of our young guys that got a chance to play as freshmen are.
