Lots of Nor-Cal-ers projected as Big West starters

In the ESPN Big West projected standings, the starting fives contain a number of northern California talents:

1. Long Beach (Jennings, Samuels, Gulley, Spencer, Caffey. Lamb to start when eligible)

2. Irvine (Ndiaye, Will Davis II, Travis Souza, Chris McNealy, Young)

3. Cal Poly (Bennett, Eversley, Nwaba, Kyle Odister, Johnson)

4. Davis (Bozner, Josh Ritchart, Ryan Sypkens, Hawkins, Lemar)

5. Northridge (Hale-Edmerson, Maxwell, Greene, Hicks, Drew)

6. Santa Barbara (Williams, Brown, Boswell, Michael Bryson, TJ Taylor -- but Taylor will redshirt in 2013-14).

7. Hawai'i (Fotu, Standhardinger, Spearman, Jawato, Shamburger)

8. Fullerton (Horne, Johnson, Brandon, Douglas, Alex Harris)

9. Riverside (Patton, Taylor Johns, Harriel, Quick, Jones)
