A trio of northern California talents are part of the Lafayette roster this season:

* Les Smith (Marin Catholic High) is listed as a senior -- he's a Government and Law major

* Bryce Scott (Oak Ridge High) is a sophomore guard -- he made the Patriot League All-Rookie team after averaging 8.2 points per game last season -- he's also a Government and Law major

* Ben Freeland (Montgomery High) is a sophomore big -- he's majoring in Biology
