The Bear Cubs fall but Hayes puts up 19

Santa Rosa Junior College fell to now 11-2 San Bernardino Valley College 64-48 last night down south in the only northern California-connected community college contest. Freshman guard Matt (Pleasant Grove High) Hayes led the Bear Cubs with 19 points and look at how quickly he has adapted to playing a step up: Eight games, 14.5 points per contest, shooting 46%, 44% and 85% respectively.
