The score was 33-27 in favor of the Wildcats at halftime but Arizona went up a gear and California dropped down one or two and thus a 73-51 outcome. Brandon Ashley provided 15 points, seven boards and a pair of blocked shots for the victors (4-7 shooting). Jabari Bird tallied 10 points for the Bears.
