Babineaux honored

From Jacksonville Men's Basketball:

Kori Babineaux was named the 2015 Atlantic Sun Newcomer of the Year and also earned a spot on the A-Sun Second Team ... as voted on by the league coaches and announced by the conference office on Monday.

Babineaux wins the Newcomer of the Year honor in the inaugural year of the award for the A-Sun. The junior was the only player in the league ranked top 10 in scoring, assists, steals and field goal percentage following an impressive season in which he averaged 14.6 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 4.0 APG and 1.6 SPG while shooting 49.1 percent from the field. The A-Sun Player of the Week n Feb. 23, he tallied two double-doubles with points and assists, while adding seven 20-point games.
