Cañada College and Saddleback College met in the second game of the California Junior College Final Four with the Colts holding a 32-22 lead after the initial 20 minutes Friday night. The southerners came back to tie in regulation before triumphing 75-68.
Crisshawn Clark led Cañada with both 23 points and five assists, adding five rebounds for good measure. Rohndell (West High) Goodwin went for 15 points plus seven boards, Israel (Palo Alto High) Hakim 10 and eight. He was tasked with defending Saddleback's 7-foot center most of the evening too.
