Claremont - Mudd - Scripps downed Texas Lutheran 79-55 last night in the opening round of the Division III basketball tournament. Senior Tyler Gaffaney led with 23 points, 20 of those coming in the second half. His seven rebounds and three blocked shots were also tops on the team.
