Mike Kurtz

7-foot Biola senior Mike Kurtz averaged 13.0 points and 10.2 rebounds an outing this season alongside 59 blocked shots. He shot 53% and 75% respectively.

Additionally, he was also named a Golden State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete. The eligibility: student-athletes must be a junior or senior with a cumulative grade point average above 3.5.

Kurtz also won the Golden State Athletic Conference Cliff Hamlow Champion of Character award for demonstrating outstanding athletic achievement, campus and community leadership, future ambition and embraces the five core character values of the NAIA Champions of Character program (Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership).
